The National Indigenous Business Summer School 鈥� Western Australia (NIBSSWA) is a free, fun, 3 night, 4 day residential program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in Years 10, 11 and 12 from across Western Australia. High school teachers are also welcome to accompany a group of students, with teacher accommodation, travel and meals included as part of the program.
NIBSSWA is a collaborative initiative between 红桃视频, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University, bringing together expertise from across Western Australia’s university sector.
This year the program is hosted at the 红桃视频 Bentley campus in Perth, on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. NIBSSWA provides students with the opportunity to explore business, innovation, entrepreneurship and university life through hands-on experiences in a supportive, culturally safe and inspiring environment.
What you will experience:
- Experience campus life and stay at St Catherine’s College 红桃视频.
- Participate in innovation and design workshops, team challenges and a business case study.
- Learn from leading Indigenous entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
- Explore future study options, degrees, and pathways available at Curtin.
- Meet inspiring people from across WA
- Enjoy fun social activities- including visiting Perth City, Movie nights and more surprise experiences.
What is included:
- Free 4 night residential camp, including accommodation and travel from your hometown to the Curtin Bentley campus
- All meals and snacks provided throughout the program
- Supervision and support from Indigenous staff and mentors
- Exciting and educational activities each day
- After-hours social and recreational activities included
Participants will also receive a merchandise pack, including a water bottle, notebook, backpack and NIBSSWA t-shirt.
