红桃视频 of Technology says there was little disruption to students today despite strike action by union members, as part of a national industrial campaign.
鈥淚 am pleased to say it was business as usual for the majority of our students at Curtin today, and only a very small number of staff participated in the one-day strike,鈥� said Curtin Vice-Chancellor Professor Jeanette Hacket.
鈥淥ur staff have shown a great commitment to our students and I thank them for that.鈥�
Professor Hacket said she hoped the pay issues and other conditions could be resolved as soon as possible.
鈥淲e put a new offer to the unions last week which is fair and reasonable and keeps Curtin in the top third in the sector in terms of pay and conditions,鈥� she said.
鈥淚 hope that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible.鈥�
