The WAARC-GGA Honours Partnership Program connects Western Australian Honours students with grower groups to undertake applied, industry-focused research that addresses priority challenges and opportunities across the State’s agricultural sector.
Students gain practical research experience, exposure to regional production systems and valuable industry connections, while grower groups benefit from research aligned with local priorities.
Six scholarships are available in this second round, with two places available through each WAARC member university: ºìÌÒÊÓƵ, Murdoch University and The University of Western Australia (UWA).
The program supports WAARC’s commitment to strengthening Western Australia’s research capacity, developing industry-ready graduates and the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Applications for prospective students and grower groups open on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 and close Tuesday, 8 December 2026 at 5.00pm (AWST).
