Respectful Relationships: online training program
Respectful Relationships is compulsory for all Curtin students in Australia. You are required to complete the Respectful Relationships program within the first four weeks of your new course or a sanction will be placed on your OASIS account.

What is Respectful Relationships?
Respectful Relationships is an online training program that addresses consent, relationships, gender-based violence, bystander interventions and support services.
The program consists of 4 content modules:
- Why gender-based violence happens
- Healthy and unhealthy relationships
- The Active Bystander
- Support and report
The program is compulsory for all Curtin students and residents of Curtin’s on-campus accommodation in Australia. You are required to complete the Respectful Relationships program within the first 4 weeks of your new course. If you either have not completed the program, or have not been granted an exemption by the deadline, a will be placed on your OASIS account.
The program takes approximately 1 hour to complete. However, you do not need to complete the program in one sitting. You are free to log out and return to the program to complete the remaining modules.
We recognise that Respectful Relationships may be challenging. You may feel uncomfortable as you reflect on your understanding of consent and relationships. This is a normal feeling. We will support you in navigating this, to achieve a safe campus for all.

How to complete the Respectful Relationships program
To complete the Respectful Relationships program, follow the steps below:
- Login to using your Curtin student ID number and OASIS password
- Under the tab ‘All’ click on the Respectful Relationships tile
- Click on the ‘Overview’ tab
- Read through the program overview, then scroll down and click on the green ‘Proceed’ button
