This period is known as the final period for withdrawal from units with penalty.<\/p>\n<p>Withdrawal from any units during this period will be recorded on your academic record as &#8216;Withdrawn&#8217; (WD) and you will still be liable for the relevant student contributions or tuition fees.<\/p>\n<h4>After final period for withdraw<\/h4>\n<p>After this final withdrawal date, unit withdrawal is not allowed and you will receive a grade based on your performance in the unit, which may be a Fail mark.<\/p>\n<h4>Financial benefits and scholarships<\/h4>\n<p>If you are in receipt of a financial benefit or scholarship contact the provider to find out how the withdrawal will affect your financial assistance.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Withdrawing-from-a-unit\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Withdrawing-from-a-unit\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Withdrawing-from-a-unit\">Withdrawing from a unit<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Withdrawing-from-a-unit\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>You can\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/oasisapps.curtin.edu.au\/help\/estudent\/my_study_plan-withdrawal.cfm\" rel=\"noopener\">withdraw from any enrolled units<\/a>\u00a0through\u00a0eStudent\u00a0in OASIS.<\/p>\n<p>If you are an International student studying on a student visa, you need to follow these <a href=\"https:\/\/oasisapps.curtin.edu.au\/help\/estudent\/my_study_plan-withdrawal.cfm#international\">guidelines for withdrawing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If the unit you withdraw from has one or more\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/askcurtinfaq.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/1304\/\" rel=\"noopener\">co-requisite units<\/a>\u00a0you will automatically be withdrawn from those as well.<\/p>\n<p>If you are enrolled in an OUA unit you will need to follow the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.open.edu.au\/student-hub\/support\/withdraw-from-subjects\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OUA process for withdrawal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Withdrawing-from-a-course\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Withdrawing-from-a-course\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Withdrawing-from-a-course\">Withdrawing from a course<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Withdrawing-from-a-course\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>First you must withdraw from all your units<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can apply for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/managing-your-course\/leave-of-absence\/\" rel=\"noopener\">leave of absence<\/a> to\u00a0hold your place in your course for up to a year. This may give you time to\u00a0assess your situation.<\/li>\n<li>If you believe you could continue your studies if you had more support, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/personal-support\/\" rel=\"noopener\">counselling, medical<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/study-support\/\" rel=\"noopener\">academic<\/a> help services available. You can also consult with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/personal-support\/counselling-guidance\/wellbeing\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Wellbeing Advisory Service<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you wish\u00a0to discontinue your studies\u00a0you must withdraw from all your units\u00a0and then request course withdrawal by sending\u00a0an\u00a0enquiry to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/ask\" rel=\"noopener\">Curtin Connect<\/a>.\u00a0A response to your enquiry will be sent to your student email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Where a course withdrawal request is submitted\u00a0after the last\u00a0withdrawal via\u00a0eStudent\u00a0it\u00a0will not be processed until after the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/academic-calendar\/\" rel=\"noopener\">official results publication date<\/a>\u00a0for the study period.<\/p>\n\n        \n
