Popular with students who want to accelerate their studies or are unable to commit to a semester abroad, these programs are typically between 2-6 weeks and allow you to study 1 or 2 units in a range of locations.<\/p>\n\n\n<mimas-block \n        block-name=\"accordion\"\n        role=\"complementary\"\n        aria-label=\"Accordion content\"\n        data-segment=\"all\">\n\n                \n<div class=\"block-heading\"\n     data-segment=\"dom\"\n     data-style=\"\"\n     data-align=\"default\"\n>\n\n                                <h2 class=\"block-heading__title \" id=\"check-your-eligibility\">Check your eligibility<\/h2>\n            \n                        \n                        \n            \n                <\/div>\n\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Eligibility-criteria\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Eligibility-criteria\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Eligibility-criteria\">Eligibility criteria<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Eligibility-criteria\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">To apply for a short-term program you must be able to meet the following requirements upon assessment of your application:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Be admitted in an undergraduate coursework degree or be admitted into a postgraduate degree that has a minimum 300 credits at a Curtin campus (you can apply while on an approved Leave of Absence, but must be enrolled prior to departure)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Have a course weighted average (CWA) of 60 or above in your current course of study (some partner universities may require a higher CWA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Have an academic status of \u2018Good Standing\u2019 with no academic misconduct, prior to departure be able to maintain full-time enrolment and attendance at the partner university<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Have completed an approved Study Plan Proposal form<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">To go on a short-term program,<strong> undergraduate<\/strong> students must be at least in their first semester of the second year of their course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\"><strong> Postgraduate<\/strong> students must be in at least the second semester of their course, but this can be reviewed if you have completed a Curtin undergraduate degree. This can also be negotiated if you wish to study at another Curtin Campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">If you don\u2019t meet the eligibility requirements, you may have your application assessed on a case-by-case basis, based on circumstance and merit. Additional documentation, including an Academic Reference may be requested to support your application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">The following students are not eligible to apply for the semester exchange program:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Australia Award Students (AAS)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Students admitted in non-degree programs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Students admitted in a Curtin graduate certificate, graduate diploma or postgraduate course of 200 credits or less (unless applying to study at another Curtin campus)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">Sponsored students must seek approval from Go Global prior to applying for exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #333333\">If you are OUA student, please confirm your eligibility with Go Global directly.<\/span><\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n        \n<\/mimas-block>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partner programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some short term programs \u2013 also called summer\/winter programs \u2013 at Curtin\u2019s partner universities may be available to study on an exchange basis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Short-term exchange places may not always be available. If an exchange place isn\u2019t available, you can still apply for a direct place. If you participate in an exchange place, you will pay tuition to Curtin.
