Course overview
The Master of Advanced Allied Health Practice (MAAHP) is a 200-credit-point postgraduate program designed for experienced allied health professionals seeking to advance their specialist clinical practice. Structured around four equal pillars – Advanced Clinical Practice, Clinical Leadership and Service Management, Education of Self and Others, and Applied Clinical Research – the course develops the competencies required to lead clinical services, drive quality improvement, educate the workforce, and embed evidence-based innovation. Delivered through work-integrated learning, participants undertake real-world projects within their own workplace, supported by online learning, interprofessional workshops, and a clinical leadership internship. Entry requirements
You will need:
- A Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in an allied health discipline, and
- Currently registration with the relevant professional body or regulatory authority, and
- A minimum of two years post-qualification clinical experience in your specialist area, and
- Current employment in an allied health role where you undertake work-integrated learning activities.
